About the author

Darren Subramanien graduated from the University of KwaZulu Natal with an LLB and a Master’s degree in Labour Law and is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at UKZN and a member of the Anti Human Trafficking task team based in KwaZulu Natal. Darren is completing a Phd in the area of corporate law and has published a number of articles in academic accredited journals.
